ABOUT THE PRESENTERS
Sigfredo Aldarondo
MDMD, CMO, Pulmonologist, Professor, Ret Lt Col
Dr. Sigfredo Aldarondo graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and has been practicing in Pulmonology for the last 34 years. He is a retired Lt. Col and is recognized as one of the top physicians in his field and is an associate professor at the University of Central FL’s School of Medicine. He currently practices out of Winter Park FL and is also the Medical Director of Respiratory Care for Advent Health. Dr. Aldarondo also serves as PN Medical’s Chief Medical Officer.
Nina Bausek, PhDChief Scientist
Geneticist, ResearcherDr.
Nina Bausek is a graduate of the University of Vienna. She developed her scientific and leadership skills doing research and teaching at the University of Oxford and the University of Sheffield in the UK. She excels as a biologist and geneticist and has been granted funding from Cancer Research in the UK. Her findings have been published in International Journals. She worked in the areas of fertility, immunology and oncology as a researcher. She serves as Chief Scientist for PN Medical.
Wendy Underwood
COTA/L, RAC-CT, Director of Breather University
She is a COTA/L, RAC-CT, and certified dementia care specialist, and has been an OT Assistant for over 18 years working as a rehab director in various cardiopulmonary settings.
Elizabeth (Betsy) Page
MA, CCC/SLP, Master Clinician
Betsy has been a Medical Speech Language Pathologist for 14 years since graduating from University of Central Florida. She enjoys practicing with a strong interdisciplinary team to support the rehab process for persons predominantly in the geriatric population. One of her professional passions is clinical education and treatment of patients with cardiopulmonary diagnoses. She finds great joy in helping her patients achieve greater function and quality of life.
Connie Christensen
MSCCC-SLP, Speech Language Pathologist
Connie graduated with a BS in Speech and Hearing Science and MS in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Utah She worked in skilled nursing facilities & post-acute rehab since 2001. Her experience includes addressing communication and swallowing disorders with patients who are medically complex, have cardiopulmonary or neurologic disorders and those with dementia. She currently is a speech-language pathologist at a CCRC in FL & serves as a content consultant for PN Medical.
