Raouf (Ron) Gharbo D.O., FAAPMR, FAANEM
EXPERT
Raouf (Ron) Gharbo D.O. is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) and Neuromuscular Electrophysiology and has 24 years practicing polytrauma rehabilitation and integrative pain management. He was recently named Director of Cardiac & Wellness Integration at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, Virginia. At VCU he serves as an authority for pragmatically applying heart rate variability science using remote monitoring, wearable technology, and telehealth for the VA/DoD’s Long-term Impact of Military-relevant Brain Injury Consortium/Chronic Effects of Neurotrauma Consortium (LIMB-CENC). He delivered a 50th-anniversary Keynote presentation for the Association of Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback in 2019. He published a synopsis of his methodology, Autonomic Rehabilitation: Adapting to Change in the PM&R Clinics of North America journal in 2020. In 1988 he was The Ohio State University’s top male scholar-athlete and the University’s first walk-on All-American wrestler.

Nina Bausek is a graduate of the University of Vienna. She developed her scientific and leadership skills doing research and teaching at the University of Oxford and the University of Sheffield in the UK. She excels as a biologist and geneticist and has been granted funding from Cancer Research in the UK. Her findings have been published in International Journals. She worked in the areas of fertility, immunology and oncology as a researcher. She serves as Chief Scientist for PN Medical.
